Three Lancaster robberies

THREE people were robbed in two separate incidents that occurred on neighbouring streets in Lancaster in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Police are searching for two men they believe are responsible for both robberies, which occurred between 2.30am and 3am, and involved the theft of wallets and mobile phones.

The first incident occurred in Denis Street, where a 32-year-old man was attacked by two offenders who took his phone and wallet.

The second was on Shaw Street where two students aged 20 and 23 were also attacked and had their phones and wallets stolen.

One of the attackers is described as a white man, aged around 25, 6ft 2in, with a large build and short dark hair.

He has a Lancaster accent and was wearing a smart black jumper and dark coloured jeans.

The second attacker is described as a white man aged around 40, 5ft 8in, with a slim build.

He has a Scottish accent and was wearing a white baseball cap and a long dark coloured coat with a fabric dog lead around his neck.
