The Twits come to Grand

Roald Dahl once said that if a person has ugly thoughts, it begins to show on the face.

And when that person has ugly thoughts every day, every week, every year, the face gets uglier and uglier until you can hardly bear to look at it.

Mr and Mrs Twit must have had some extremely ugly thoughts, and if you head down to the Lancaster Grand Theatre, you will see just how ugly those thoughts were.

Mr and Mrs Twit are the meanest, smelliest and nastiest people in the world and Lancaster Footlights are getting ready for their visit.

Fortunately, The Roly Poly Bird (pictured right), Muggle Wump the monkey and all their friends will be ready to make sure that they don’t make too much mess and that the story has a happy ending!

Roald Dahl’s story – The Twits – is adapted by author David Wood and comes to life at The Grand between June 14 and 18. Performances are at 7.30pm daily except Saturday, when the show begins at 2.30pm.

Tickets are £8.50 / £7.50 concessions. Tuesday night is £6.00. Group bookings – one free ticket for every 10 booked.
