A dramatic version of Brian Clough’s disastrous time as Leeds United manager kicks off at The Dukes later this month.

The stage adaptation of The Damned United plays in Lancaster on April 24 and 25 as part of its first UK tour.

A cast of three take audiences up-close to the sweat, fury and power struggles from pitch-side and inside the flawed but brilliant mind of ‘Old Big ‘ed’.

The Damned United is the story of a troubled genius coming up against his limits and has been adapted from David Peace’s best-selling book which was made into a film in 2009 starring Michael Sheen as Clough.

Tickets are priced £12.50 and £14.50.

Concessions receive a £2 discount.

Performances take place at 7.30pm plus a 2pm show on April 25.
