The North West Air Ambulance Charity’s helicopters fly 365 days a year, with the doctors and paramedics on board providing rapid treatment to patients across the entire north west region each year.

The family supermarket held regular raffles, shops, bake sales and competitions at central office to fundraise throughout the year, including guess the name of the cuddly toy and guess the weight of the hamper.

Buyer’s assistant Gail Jordan, who nominated the charity to be supported, said: “The North West Air Ambulances do a dedicated and tireless job in our region, and the fact that they are entirely supported by charitable donations makes it essential we help them where we can.”

Joanne Fowler, regional fundraiser for Lancashire at the North West Air Ambulance Charity, said: “We want to say a huge thank you to Booths staff and customers for their continued support of our charity.

“As a service totally reliant on donations, contributions like these are vital for us to continue our life-saving work in the north west.”

Booths engages with the wider community and develops many partnerships with local suppliers, producers, schools and organisations
