Store closure plans will not affect Morecambe and Lancaster shops
Morrisons supermarket in Morecambe and Morrisons M Local store in Lancaster are not included in plans to close 11 larger stores across the UK.
Bosses announced the closures – which put 900 jobs at risk – just days after it was confirmed 40 of its smaller M Local convenience stores would be sold for around £25m.
