Spider fan shares his creepy crawly pictures

Stephen Brown is a huge fan of spiders and encourages his sons to hold the insects whenever he finds them.

Pictured are Stephen’s sons aged one and three holding their dad’s favourite creatures.

The last picture shows the spider Stephen found whilst cutting the grass.

He said: “I decided to cut the grass, got the mower out, sat down and then saw our cat stoop into the pouncing position and set off stalking into the middle of the garden.

“I looked and saw something moving and thought...is that a small mouse or something?

“On closer inspection, it was this monster we found, definitely the biggest spider I have ever seen, it was awesome!”

Experts have warned this year could see a record number of the eight-legged beasts.
