Spandau Ballet stars at Lancaster Grand Theatre

A Spandau Ballet star will reveal all in a special evening at the Lancaster Grand Theatre.

Sure to be a sell-out ‘An Audience with Martin Kemp’ will take place on Tuesday May 24.

The former Eastenders star will be reflecting on his musical and acting career.

Martin has spent the last two years touring the world with Spandau Ballet, promoting the film ‘Soul Boys of the Western World’ and playing to sold out arenas at every stop.

He has been in the creative arts industry since the age of six when he attended the Anna Scher Children’s Theatre, and by the age of 10 appeared regularly on television in programmes including Rumpole Of The Bailey, Dixon Of Dock Green, The Tomorrow People and Jackanory.

In 1979 Martin formed the new romantic band Spandau Ballet playing bass guitar, and the group went on to tour the world, with a number of top 20 hits in the 1980s.

He was then asked to star alongside his brother Gary in the film ‘The Krays’ which was a huge success.

An audience with Martin Kemp will begin at 7.30pm and tickets cost £22.50 for adults and £21 for concessions, meet and greet tickets are £35.

One of Britain’s most celebrated comic-entertainers will also be coming to the Lancaster Grand Theatre.

Brian Conley will embark on a 36-date UK tour with his brand-new variety show ‘Alive and Dangerous.’

Brian’s 40-year TV career has seen him win multiple awards, and he is also well-known for his work on stage, debuting in musical theatre.

He will perform at the Grand on Thursday March 3 at 8pm. Tickets are priced at £22.50. Many shows have already sold out this year including popular comedian Romesh Ranganathan’s show.
