Slideshow: Ladies walk the streets of Morecambe and Lancaster in the annual Moonlight Walk
More than a thousand ladies raise nearly a million pounds by taking part in the annual St John’s Hospice Moonlight Walk.
The rain that threatened all week stayed away throughout the evening as more than 1,100 ladies donned their pink and orange t-shirts to walk the 14km and 25km routes around Morecambe and Lancaster.
This was the ninth consecutive year the walk took place and it is estimated to have raised in excess of £900,000 for the Slyne Road hospice.
