1. What was your first job?
My first job was as a door-to-door salesman. At the time it was just a job, but it taught me perseverance and the art of getting along with people.
2. How do you relax after a hard day’s work?
I love to go to the gym and then chill out with my fiancé and kids.
3. Proudest moment in business?
When I got the chance to re-name my company JamRock Design. I always told my mother I would own a company called JamRock, and now I do!
4. Most embarrassing moment at work?
I once got my words messed up and said to a female client, “you’re having a good period this month.” This was a mistake.
5. What is your biggest vice?
I’m permanently trying to give up smoking.
6. Who is the biggest influence on your life?
This is an easy one. My mother is the person I most look up to and is my role model and a very special human being.
She is one in a billion, so if I become half the person she is, then I will be a happy man.
7. Word of business advice?
If Plan A does not work, then the alphabet has 24 other letters. So stay cool, and never give up on your dreams.
