A 13-year-old boy was one of seven people arrested following a late night brawl which spilled out of a Lancaster city centre pub.
Police were called to The Square, in Great John Street at around 11.45pm on Tuesday following reports of fighting and people chanting “The Square” repeatedly.
The fighting is believed to have started inside the pub, and then spilled out onto the street, with furniture being thrown about, and damage caused to items inside the pub.
Police say the fighting started when someone was asked to leave the pub.
Four men, aged 21, 34, 41 and 54, and a boy aged 13 and two aged 15 were arrested on suspicion of assault and affray. Investigations are ongoing.
