Rush hour tailbacks after flooding in Torrisholme Road
Torrisholme Road had to be closed in the early hours of Thursday morning after a sewer collapsed, causing the road to flood.
The incident, underneath the railway bridge at Ryelands, caused major tailbacks through rush hour after traffic was diverted along Morecambe Road.
United Utilities are currently at the scene, and Lancashire County Council and the police have also been involved in the incident.
It is hoped the road will reopen by lunchtime.
