ROYAL VISIT: Here is the route for The Queen’s visit to Lancaster

Barriers will be used along the route from Lancaster train station to the castle to give visitors the best opportunity to see The Queen.

Commuters and visitors should use alternative modes of transport including cycling, walking and public transport.

If a car is essential people should leave plenty of time for their journey and take into account that there may be delays and parking restrictions.

The bus stop on Common Garden Street will also be temporarily relocated to Dalton Square.

Closures will run until 2pm approximately.
