Heavy rain has caused the River Lune to burst its banks, blocking the road between Gressingham and Hornby.

Fleet Lane going over Gressingham Bridge is currently impassable to traffic, following hours of persistent rain in Lancashire and Cumbria overnight on Tuesday October 10 and into Wednesday October 11.

Some parts of Cumbria have also flooded, and weather warnings for the county are still in place.
