The audience at The Platform, however, was a very mixed one of age and gender, although that did not hinder Brian who had them eating out of his hand from the opening song ‘Just One Kiss’ to his final one ‘Carrickfergus’.
It was a very polished performance from the consummate professional.
It wasn’t hard to see why he has recorded over fifteen albums and performed all over the world.
There was an air of electricity as he sang his spine chilling rendition of ‘You Raise Me Up’.
Brian Kennedy does it as well as anyone and famously sang it at George Best’s funeral.
