Results of our EU Referendum poll

In an online survey 64% of readers said they want Britain to exit the European Union.

In contrast, 33% said they would be voting to remain in the EU with 3% saying they don’t know.

The poll was conducted across both the Lancaster Guardian and Visitor websites and 701 of you took part.

But national pollsters and leading researcher Professor Chris Henretty who identified Lancaster district as Britain’s ‘bellwether’ region – the strongest indication of how the national vote will go – say the UK vote is too close to call.
