Friday night will feature mainly open mic performances in the bar.

There will also be between 25 and 30 beers on offer from breweries including Warton based Old School Brewery, XT Brewery from Aylesbury, Stockport Brewery, Spitting Feathers from Chester, and Bowness Bay Brewing Company among others from the Lancaster area.

The Pink Flamingo Cocktail Bar will also be setting up shop for the weekend.

Ren Wallbank, from Old School Brewery, said the event, which costs £5 for the whole weekend, had changed location for this year, and now included parking provision.

Ren said: “There’ll be some kids activities too, bouncy castles, and hopefully some classic cars and bikes.

“We’ll also have food on offer, and The Painted Bean in Carnforth are coming with sweets.

“There will be no camping, so people will need to make their own arrangements for getting home, but it’s only a 10 minute walk to Carnforth train station.

“We’re doing it for the village really, to have some fun, something to put a smile on people’s faces.”

The gates open at 4pm until 11pm on Friday, and 12pm until 11pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Live Ale takes place in the same space that hosted Playfest in the village.
