The purpose of the event is to give students in Year 10 an idea of what college life is like and what subjects are available at LMC as they prepare to go into their final year at school.

Last year, more than 100 pupils took part and came from as far as Ulverston to experience College life.

Of last year’s event, Lizzy Ware of Queen Elizabeth School said: “I’d like to say thank you to the staff, I am definitely considering studying at the college.

“I enjoyed the tutors and seeing what the college is actually like.
