Police investigate Heysham cemetery assault
A man has been taken to hospital with head injuries following an assault in a Heysham cemetery.
Police have taped off the area, and are investigating the incident, which occured at Hale Carr Cemetery, Hale Carr Lane, at around 2pm today, Friday July 10.
No arrests have been made and police are still at the scene.
The man, who is in his 40s, was taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
