Police chase two suspects on foot

Police chased down two suspects and arrested them in Morecambe on Saturday,

During a rowdy party on Euston Grove, it was reported to police that a youth had been assaulted.

PC Dan Entwistle arrived on the scene and saw someone matching the description running off. PC Entwistle chased after the 17-year-old youth, who was arrested on suspicion of assault and bailed pending further enquiries.

Sgt Adie Knowles chased a man who jumped out of a property on the Branksome Estate.

After a 100m chase he managed to detain him in a garden of a house on Ullswater Avenue.

The 17-year-old youth was wanted on warrant for breaching a community court order.
