Police cadets swear their allegiance

Lancashire Constabulary will hold its third attestation evening for the cadets, who are from Morecambe and Lancaster, Blackpool and the Fylde, West Lancashire, South Ribble, Preston, Blackburn with Darwen, Burnley, Hyndburn and Ribble and Nelson and Colne, who are aged between 13 and 18.

The cadets will declare their allegiance to the force, promise to serve the community and act as ambassadors for Lancashire Constabulary at the event, which will take place at King George’s Hall in Blackburn. The cadets will be joined by friends and family and welcomed by Chief Constable Steve Finnigan QPM CBE and Police & Crime Commissioner Mr Clive Grunshaw. Chief Inspector Ian Sewart will address the ceremony. Other high-profile guests include the High Sherriff of Lancashire, Mrs Amanda Parker.The ceremony takes place this Wednesday, April 29.
