The manufacturer has discovered that all batches of the product contain mustard seeds which are not mentioned on the label.
Allergy to mustard is rare, but if consumed by a sufferer can lead to irritation of sinuses, the lungs, the digestive tract and the skin, and in the most severe cases can cause anaphylactic shock.
A company statement read: “If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to mustard, do not eat it. Instead, return the product to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.”
