Some telephone lines at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary are not working properly after recent floods.

Callers may be struggling to get through to some departments and wards at the RLI run by Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The problem is being worked on as a priority but in the meantime, anyone wishing to contact wards or departments should go through the main switchboard number on 01539 732288.

There are also issues at Westmorland General Hospital in Kendal and Furness General Hospital in Barrow.
