Young Lancaster performers light up stage at legendary Blackpool theatre
Stagecoach Lancaster performed an original piece in a sold-out show at Blackpool’s Grand Theatre.
The students, aged between nine and 11, all from Lancaster, worked with enthusiasm and gusto on their enchanting piece titled ‘House of Cards’.
The tale of a ‘House of Cards’ was one of dedication, passion, excitement, and pure theatrical magic.
With reshaped songs and reinvented dances, the students breathed imagination into their eight minute piece which left the excited audience of over 800 filled with pride and wonder, and every student who took part walked away inspired and accomplished.

Stagecoach Lancaster joined other Stagecoach schools from around the country as part of Stagecoach Live, a nationwide initiative to gift young Stagecoach students the experience of performing on some of the country’s most iconic stages.
Principal Ann-Marie White said: “For many of our Stagecoach Lancaster students, this was their first time on a professional stage.
"It was so special to see how much they learned throughout the day and to be part of such a big event on a professional stage with the lights, head mics and costumes. It’s a wonderful and rare opportunity that our students have been able to be part of.”
