We asked you to suggest those place names that made no sense when said out loud and you didn't disappoint.

. Heysham
Up in the north of the county, complete with a nuclear power station - it's He-Sham, not Hey.
. Morecambe
Spelling, pronunciation, this one's got the lot. Don't even think about saying it as it looks - it's More-cum
. Oswaldtwistle
Where do you start with this one? Break it down and it becomes 'Ozzle-twizzle'
. Penwortham
More about emphasis this one. Accentuate the first syllable, not the 'worth' in the middle.
. Aughton
Here we go again - two in our fair county and said differently. Aughton in West Lancs is said how it looks, think Autumn and August. But the one up near Lancaster is pronounced 'Afton'.
. Claughton
Good luck with this one as there's two in Lancashire and they are pronounced differently. Claughton-on-Brock near Preston is pronounced 'Clyeton' while Claughton near Lancaster is 'Clafton'. Following?
. Hoghton
The place that hosts the lovely tower can catch people out. Imagine there's a 'U' in it so say 'Houghton' but definitely don't spell it like that. With thanks to Gill O'Neill for a few suggestions in this gallery, including this one.
17. Poulton-le-Fylde
Plenty that can go wrong here and seemingly does on a regular basis. Poulton is of course pronounced 'Polton' while locals report having heard 'Poulton-le-Flid' and 'Poulton-le-Flyde'
18. Bispham
All sorts of attempts here but it's 'Bisp-um'. Not 'Bisham', or 'Bisam' or 'Bishpam', the latter being our favourite error.
19. Cleveleys
Again on the Fylde coast, it's said how it looks, but some thinking they are clever are determined to put an 'r' in and make it 'Cleverleys'. Nope
