The order will ban all traffic from the northbound carriageway of the M6, from a point 122 metres south of the southbound exit slip road at junction 33, to a point 167 metres north of the Foundry Lane Bridge.
The prohibition is expected to be in place overnight between 7pm and 8am during a period starting on Monday June 29 and ending on Sunday July 19.

However, works may start and continue between the same times on subsequent nights or until completed.
Diversion routes via alternative junctions of the M6 and local roads will be well signed.
The prohibition will not apply to emergency services or special forces vehicles and will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall, from time to time, be indicated by traffic signs.
The order comes into force on June 28 and has a maximum duration of 18 months.
