Missing Morecambe teen Sophie thought to be in London

Sophie O’Dere, 16, from Morecambe, was last seen at Piccadilly Railway Station, Manchester, on Monday July 13 at 5.55pm, boarding a train to London.

Sophie, who has links to Leyland, London and Llandudno in Wales, is described as 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build, with brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a pale blue denim jacket, a mustard colour knee length skirt and dark coloured shoes with white soles.

Following an earlier appeal, Lancashire Police have now transferred the investigation to the Metropolitan Police as she is believed to be in the London area.

They have thanked all those who shared the initial appeal.
