Funding helps Headway Lancaster and Morecambe Bay to deliver their virtual buddy service

As a small voluntary organisation who are self-funding #headwaylancasterandmorecambebay rely on the goodwill of others to enable us to support our members, all of whom are brain injury survivors.

As our planned fundraising events were cancelled due to Covid 19, it is with enormous thanks to the #National Lottery Community Fund, #Morecambe Bay Foundation Emergency Response Fund and #Lancashire Covid 19 Community Fund, that we are able to continue supporting our members through our Virtual Buddy Service.

Loneliness and isolation must never be under-estimated, and it is now, more than ever, that our members, their families and carers need our support.
