Former Mayoress of Lancaster dies, aged 98

Kathleen and her late husband Fred Wilcox were Mayor and Mayoress in 1989-90. He represented Slyne-with-Hest on Lancaster City Council. Kathleen died in Redcar, North Yorkshire, where the funeral took place on Tuesday February 11. She leaves her second husband Edward. Donations in Kathleen’s memory were given to Dementia Action.
