Film star Michael J Fox helps Morecambe schoolboy send Typhoo teabag around the world

When Great Wood Primary School set a teabag challenge - asking youngsters to come up with creative ways to get a teabag in a cup - Max Watson decided to send his around the world!

Six-year-old Max, who lives in Morecambe with mum and dad Phil and Jade, is now becoming an internet sensation through his bid to make people smile.

Phil said: "His school set a challenge of doing something spectacular with a teabag. We asked him how far he thought he could throw his and he said 'around the world'.

"So...with a little help from some of our friends around the world we did.

"We put the first video onto our Facebook page and were then bombarded by friends who knew people in other countries and they got involved.

"Michael J Fox has also contributed a clip all the way from New York. It seems to have put a big smile on a lot of people's faces.

"Typhoo then saw the video, loved it and asked people from their factories and plantations around the world to also throw a teabag."

The video covers more than 50,000 miles in total and Max is aiming to reach a target of 100 countries as he tries to put a smile on people's faces.
