Elections: By-election results for Lancaster City Council and Morecambe Town Council

By-elections were held in two Lancaster City Council wards and one Morecambe Town Council ward on Thursday.

Residents voted in the Lancaster City Council wards of Bulk and Kellet, and in Morecambe Town Council's Poulton ward.

In the Poulton by-election, Paul Hart (Lib Dem) was elected with 576 votes.

Terrie Metcalfe (Labour) got 226 votes and Martha Brocklebank (MBI) got 180 votes.

Turnout was 30.04 per cent.

In the Lancaster City Council by-election for Bulk ward, Jack Lenox (Green) was elected with 1,283 votes.

Anna Lee (Labour) got 824 votes, Matthew Maxwell-Scott (Conservative) got 209 votes and Katia Adimora (Lib Dem) got 45 votes.

Turnout was 33.55 per cent.

In the Lancaster City Council by-election for Kellet ward, Stuart Morris (Conservative) was elected with 447 votes.

Ross Hunter (Lib Dem) got 271 votes and Kathryn Atkins (Independent) for 161 votes.

Turnout was 49.12 per cent.
