9. Lancaster City Museum
The museum is in Lancaster's former town hall, an elegant Georgian building constructed in 1781-3, where you can discover more about Lancaster’s past from the Romans to the present day. The museum itself was founded in 1923 and its collections illustrate the history and archaeology of the city of Lancaster. It is also home to the King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment Museum. 11. Lancaster Maritime Museum

12. Stone Jetty, Morecambe
The long jetty offers a walking path, bay vistas, and bird and animal sculptures. It was rebuilt and extended during 1994/95 as part of coastal defence work to combine a series of circular pavement features incorporating pavement games which young and old can enjoy.
