9. Daragh Carville
The Irish playwright, screenwriter and educator is best known for co-creating and writing the ITV crime drama The Bay, first broadcast on ITV in 2019 and filmed in Morecambe.

10. Sir John Ambrose Fleming
Sir John Ambrose Fleming (November 29 1849 - April 18 1945) was an English electrical engineer and physicist who designed the radio transmitter with which the first transatlantic radio transmission was made, and also established the right-hand rule used in physics. He also invented the first thermionic valve or vacuum tube.
