FIFTEEN bands will take to the stage at the Yorkshire House in Lancaster this weekend, starting tonight, Thursday, with some guitar and synth-driven alternative rock.
Female fronted Lancaster rock-pop band Innamorata headline a four-strong line-up tonight with rockers Spiritus Mundi, synth driver Phalligajtor, and some acoustic rock from former Legion guitarist Julian Leto.
Entry is £3, doors open at 7.30pm.
Tomorrow night, Manchester/Lancaster new age punks Cranial Screwtop appear back at the Yorkie for the first time in a while, bringing with them songs from their new album Power Ups.
The three-piece, complete with kazooist, who claim to “take a bad song and make it better”, doctoring 80s tracks like Walk Like An Egyptian, Rio and Down Under, are supported by three-piece punk band The Privileged Few, fresh from recording a six-track demo at Reclaimed Studios in Blackpool.
Also on the bill are Skant Handful. The show starts at 9pm.
