On Friday I met Rinicom Director Prof Garik Markarian to discuss the exciting projects being designed in Morecambe and Lunesdale and to share my contacts in the sector.

The Prime Minister recognises how important this is to our part of the world and is setting up a meeting between myself and the Energy Secretary to discuss this further.

On Friday I met the new chief executive of Cancer Care Neil Townsend for an update on the services they are providing to people with cancer and long term conditions.
