Columnist Ryan Donohue: Leave it to the experts

Early this week I went to London for a few business meetings.

Overall it worked out well – over one thousand miles for essentially, breakfast (poached eggs on toast) and coffee.

Why would I travel all those miles for a few hours?

I want to change the lives of so many more people and in order to do that, I must be realistic in both my thinking and my abilities.

In order to be the best and get the best results, you absolutely must seek out the best people in whatever it is you want to succeed in, go see them and network with them to lift you higher. I, just like you, do not know everything about everything and I am more than happy to admit my weaknesses and where I need help, guidance and advice.

So many people say they know what to do to get in shape, to lose the weight, to get fit and what not, yet they are not in the best shapes of their lives.

Why is this?

This is something I feel very strongly about and for the sake of professionalism, I shall keep the profanity out of this column.

However, I go on. You know what to do, yeah? Then why are you not doing it?

Think about that for one second. How is that working for you?

The previous two questions are very difficult to answer and I do not wish to upset or offend you, but the harsh reality is that if you knew what to do and how to do it, you would be doing it.

If you do not, there is nothing wrong with that. In fact, that is perfect.

In my opinion you should excel in one thing and seek advice of others who excel in their field.

Do you go to your general practitioner for your car MOT?

No, you seek out the best in that one thing, whatever it may be.

Why? For one thing alone. Results.

When it all comes down to it, that is what it is all about.

Getting the best results, in the fastest, safest and most effective way possible.
