OAP recovering in hospital after paving stone assault
A pensioner who was left fighting for her life after being assaulted with a paving stone is still recovering from her injuries in hospital.
The 85-year-old suffered a serious head injury in the attack near her home on School Road, Heysham, on Thursday, June 18.
A 57-year-old man who was arrested in connection with the incident remains sectioned under the mental health act, said Lancashire police.
