The new layout adapts to fit the device you’re using - including mobile phones and tablet computers.

The leader of the county council, Jennifer Mein, said: “People want county council services that are easy to access, which includes making them available online.

“The new design also makes our website less cluttered, so it’s easier to find the services that you’re looking for.

The online services that are used the most have been included on the homepage itself, to make them easier for people to find.

This includes reporting highway faults, applying for the Blue Badge disabled parking scheme and library services.
