New Torrisholme dentist moves step closer

Plans for a new dental surgery in the former Booths supermarket in Torrisholme have taken a step closer.

Lancaster City Council planners have recommended approval for the surgery in the empty former store near Torrisholme Square, which closed earlier this year.

City councillors are expected to make a final decision at a meeting on June 27.

The dental surgery would provide seven treatment rooms, an education room, a dental training room and a small car park.It will employ five full-time and nine part-time staff.
