New records system allows information to be shared quickly
LPRES allows clinical documents to be shared with other health and social care providers electronically, allowing organisations to move away from the traditional method of sending printed hard copies in the post.
The new information sharing system will provide health professionals with a function to share specific clinical documents and access the information they need whenever and wherever they are in order to seamlessly deliver care.
