Yoga teacher offering unique and magical candlelit sound bath in North Yorkshire cave
A qualified yoga teacher and sound healing practitioner is holding candlelit sound meditation in Ingleborough Cave on two dates in August.
A cave sound meditation is a deeply relaxing, meditative experience combining the calming power of live instrumental sound with the unique stillness and atmosphere of the cave environment.
Surrounded by ancient rock formations deep beneath the earth, the cave offers a peaceful and grounding setting to slow down and reconnect with nature.
Lauren Blackwell, founder of Fellbeing which offers yoga classes, retreats and special events, will begin with a short guided meditation before transitioning into playing the gongs, crystal singing bowls and chimes.

These instruments have been selected due to the healing nature of their frequencies and sounds, which slow down brain wave state, allowing participants to access a deep state of relaxation
between wakefulness and sleep, known as Theta state.
Lauren Blackwell said: “I'm offering two free places on each of my truly unique and magical subterranean Candlelit Sound Baths in Ingleborough Cave for wheelchair users and their carers.
"I'd love for these free places to be fully utilised during the remaining sessions this summer.
“Accessibility support includes:
*Use of a Tramper all-terrain mobility vehicle to travel along the nature trail to the cave entrance.
*Use of a specially adapted wheelchair to access the cave itself.”
Upcoming dates for the Ingleborough Cave, Clapham, North Yorkshire, meditation are Saturday August 15 5pm to 8pm and Sunday August 16 5pm to 8pm.
Tickets are priced adult £46, child 12 plus £38.
