A women’s clothing shop coming to Morecambe’s Arndale shopping centre has started to stock up in preparation for opening.

Netty’s is opening on May 1 in the shop which used to be Shoe Zone in the Arndale.

Netty’s said on their Facebook page: “Sneak peek time Eeeeek! The rails are now on the wall and we have started unpacking new stock.

"We have bags! So exciting, we haven't started merchandising yet (the bags wont be staying there!) we wanted to show you our work in progress.”

Netty’s, which has six stalls in Festival Market, made an official announcement in March that they were leaving the market to open in the Arndale.

A shop assistant said on Facebook: “Annette’s shop was set up two and a half years ago with just one stall but she has built it and built it to now have six stalls.

"We are really busy and it’s a great business, but as much as we love working in the market we want to be able to sell more and open more so at the end of April our time is coming to an end here at Festival Market.

"The good news is we are moving into a shop where we can open seven days a week. As of May 1 we will be in the Arndale Centre, in the shop which used to be Shoe Zone.

"We’ve got plenty of space to put all our lovely clothes and its only going to get bigger and better.”
