Rockers Reef heading to Lancaster next month
Rockers Reef are heading out on the road for 14 dates around the UK including Lancaster in November.
Throughout October and November, the band will be playing tracks from their 30 year career and visiting some incredibly intimate venues.
Formed in Glastonbury in 1993, Reef are known for their blues-infused Britrock sound and energetic live performances.
Fronted by vocalist Gary Stringer alongside bassist Jack Bessant, the group rose to mainstream prominence after their song ‘Naked’ was featured in a Sony MiniDisc television commercial.

This early exposure boosted the profile of their 1995 gold-certified debut album, Replenish.
They achieved massive commercial success with their sophomore effort, Glow (1997), which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and spawned their defining top-10 anthem, ‘Place Your Hands.’
Following a successful reunion in 2010, Reef revitalised their recording career with the comeback album Revelationin 2018, followed by their sixth studio release, Shoot Me Your Ace, in 2022.
Since the album’s release and numerous rave reviews, the band have opened for the likes of The Rolling Stones at their Olympic stadium show in Munich, headlined the Avalon Stage at Glastonbury and performed at some of the best and most prestigious festivals across the UK and Europe.
With a reinvigorated lineup which sees original members Gary Stringer (vocals) and Jack Bessant (Bass) joined by one of the UKs most highly revered drummers Luke Bullen (Bryan
Ferry / Joe Strummer / K.T Tunstall) and also being further bolstered by the addition of North Devon virtuoso Guitarist Amy Newton the band have arguably never sounded so good.
Reef will be playing at Kanteena Lancaster on November 14.
