A new Lancaster sports bar – where customers are welcome to bring their own food – has launched in time for the Euros.

Dalton Rooms Sports Bar, at Vibe in Dalton Square, will be showing live sport across 16 screens including of course the Euro 2024 games.

From football to fencing, the bar aims to provide a relaxed space for playing pool, sharing a pint with friends and watching sports.

While the Dalton Rooms Sports Bar caters to those seeking a laid-back atmosphere, VIBE will continue to offer its lively nightlife experience – ensuring the venue remains a hub of entertainment throughout the day and night.

Since opening in 2022, VIBE has become a staple in Lancaster’s nightlife. The grand opening, where tickets sold out within five hours, marked the beginning of an exciting journey for the team.

"We’re currently a tight-knit team with over 20 years of bar management experience between the managers,” said owner Tim Barbary.

"Since our launch, VIBE has delivered memorable nights adding more variety to Lancaster’s entertainment scene. Highlights include NYE and Freshers week 2023, which saw over 8,000 people visit us in a week!"

As the team at VIBE nightclub and bar develop the business, safety and community needs remain at the forefront.

"VIBE is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment,” said Tim.

The initiative designates VIBE as a ‘safe place’ where vulnerable individuals can seek assistance and ensure a safe route home.

Innovation is another key aspect of VIBE's mission with the introduction of The Daytime Club. The concept offers a clubbing experience during daylight hours allowing customers to enjoy clubbing without sacrificing their weekend mornings.

Two events featuring music from past decades have already been hosted with more coming soon.

VIBE and Dalton Rooms Sports Bar have exciting events coming up over the summer. Check out their social media or find out more on their website www.vibelancaster.co.uk.

Tim added: “We hope to see you soon.”
