New ‘cute’ craft cafe opens in Lancaster

Lancaster has a new hidden gem – an art cafe with a Kenji (stationery) shop.

Oopstay Art Cafe is on Penny Street next to the ‘Taste the Orient’ supermarket.

Love Lancaster Bid posted on Facebook: “OopStay Art Café is the ultimate cosy spot for matcha, cuteness, creativity and good vibes, plus a Kenji store.

“Whether you’re painting, decorating phone cases, making cute crafts with friends, or just stopping by for a drink and a kawaii stationery shop, this place is such a vibe!

A Love Lancaster BID Facebook reel about Oopstay cafe said: “Oopstay cafe is part cafe/part art space with a photo booth and its actually got a Kenji store with it, the cutest stuff as well.

“They’ve got really unique drinks like matcha specials and then you get to pick your object to decorate – little pieces that you can glue to your item.
