Morecambe-born Lois supporting Truthpaste at gig in Lancaster
A phenomenal gig is coming to The Gregson Centre in Lancaster.
Truthpaste from London regularly do the rounds on BBC Introducing London and Radio 6, appearing at Chris Hawkins' Awesome Friends at Sunbird Records.
They are a band of five multi-instrumentalists and a trusty computer drum, blending pop, acoustic folk, and electronic music.
Last year they released their popular debut single ‘See You Around’ followed by ‘Bleary Eyes’ with Memorials of Distinction.

Truthpaste is Esmé Lark (lead vocals, saxophone), Theo Murchie (guitar, vocals), Claire Sun (violin, vocals), Euan McNeill (bass, guitar, vocals), and James Ballarò (synth, lapsteel, guitar).
They will be backed up by local legend Lois and dreamboat boy band the Limes.
Born in the small, seaside town of Morecambe, Lois started songwriting as a way of processing some of the difficult experiences she faced at a young age.
What began as bedroom demos quickly led to local pub gigs and signing a record deal at 19.

From the diary-like confessions of her debut EP ‘Strange Men’ to the bold reclamations of her identity on sophomore project ‘Seven’, the now Leeds-based songwriter has proven herself as an artist who continues to evolve and change.
The Limes are Dylan Vity, Will Hyde, Sam Winter George Gaughan; an Alt/Indie-Rock band making waves with electrifying performances and catchy, melodic songs.
The show has been brought by promoter duo BaccyJ & Folio having taken a short rest after their debut music festival at Lancaster Castle.
The gig is on September 18 at 6.30pm.
