Lane on M6 near Carnforth reopened after being closed due to overturned vehicle

Highways North West posted on X ten hours ago: “1 (of 3) lanes are closed on the #M6 in #Cumbria southbound between J36 #Kirkby Lonsdale and J35 #Carnforth due to a collision involving an overturned vehicle.

“Delays are currently 30 minutes above normal time, please allow extra time for your journey.”

Earlier this morning (Tuesday) National Highways North-West posted on X: “All lanes have reopened on the #M6 in #Cumbria southbound between J36 #Kirkby Lonsdale and J35 #Carnforth following a collision involving an overturned vehicle.
