Firefighters called out after large plume of smoke seen in Carnforth

The fire turned out to be controlled burning on private land.

Before this callout Carnforth fire crews were called out with both Lancaster fire station appliances to a fire in Heysham.

As crews arrived at the incident they were no longer required and left both Lancaster pumps at the incident.
