Kidds Transport, a leading transport and logistics provider in Lancaster, has been recognised with a coveted national award for delivering first class customer service and operational excellence over the past 12 months.
Kidds Transport, a member of Palletways, Europe’s largest and fastest growing express palletised freight network, joins an elite group of just 25 companies that have received Palletways’ Platinum award for Operational Excellence after demonstrating their ability to consistently deliver the highest level of service to the network and their customers.
The annual awards, which this year were presented at Palletways’ recent Operations Conference at The Belfry in Sutton Coldfield, aim to recognise the very best members of the Palletways UK network, which Kidds Transport joined in 2008.
Simon Park, managing director at Kidds Transport, said: “Winning a Platinum Club Award is an incredible achievement for Kidds Transport and I’m absolutely thrilled with this result. Over the past 12 months, we’ve worked tirelessly to ensure that we’re in line with Palletways’ high standards for service and operational excellence, so I’d like to thank our team for their tremendous efforts in making this happen. We’re now looking forward to building upon our success as a Platinum Club member.”
Rob Gittins, managing director at Palletways UK, added: “We would like to thank Kidds Transport for delivering the consistently high levels of customer service that Palletways members are renowned for and we’re glad that their hard work has received the recognition it rightly deserves.”
“Our goal is to provide our customers with a fast, efficient and reliable service. Having 25 members that have scooped this prestigious accolade demonstrates just how much importance the network places on delivering the highest levels of customer service.”
Kidds Transport is one of over 115 independent transport providers that are part of the Palletways UK network. They benefit from shared expertise and resources from within the group to deliver consignments of palletised freight to market faster and more cost effectively than ever before.
The Palletways Group comprises 450+ depots and 20 hub operations, through which it provides collection and distribution services across 20 European countries, including the UK.
