N’DOdO back on beat

“Masters of rhythm” N’DOdO perform an afro/jazz/rock set at The Dukes this weekend.

N’DOdO are the reincarnation of the group NO DODO who played gigs across the district in the 90s.

They are led by drummer Iain Hunter and rhythm is very much at the heart of the band, which also features guitars, saxophones and basses.

N’DOdO’s music is perfect to dance to and visitors to The Dukes bar from 6.30pm will be able to enjoy a free sample before the full show which begins in The Round at 8pm (Doors 7.30pm).

A Dukes spokeswoman said: “Anyone wishing to learn from these masters of rhythm can take part in a rhythm and drum workshop at 2pm on March 16.

“This is free for N’DOdO ticket holders but places must be reserved at the box office.”

Tickets are priced £8/£6(conc). To book call The Dukes box office on 01524 598500 or visit www.dukes-lancaster.org.
