Morecambe 'social media guru' helps businesses find their feet after lockdown
Ruth Wilkinson’s digital courses will teach employers and staff everything they need to know to get the most out of their social media and grow their businesses.
The free courses, fully-funded through Leading Lancashire, are ideal both for complete beginners who have never set up a Facebook page in their lives and people with more advanced skills.

Hide AdRuth has been running the series of one-day courses on the video platform Zoom to help businesses to cope during lockdown and to help them get back on their feet now restrictions are easing.
Feedback has been extremely positive from local business people who attended the courses.

Ruth, who runs the courses in conjunction with Lancaster & Morecambe College, has a Masters degree in mentoring and coaching, and is an accredited professional in Facebook and Google - one of only a handful in the north west.
She runs The Consult Centre in Morecambe, a PR agency providing social media help for businesses.

Hide AdRuth set up The Consult Centre in 2016 after a successful 26-year career in the corporate industry.
The Consult Centre, based on Marine Road Central with an office overlooking Morecambe Bay, also provides one-to-one coaching for business professionals, website building, search engine optimisation and networking events, among other services.
The firm also offers training and meeting rooms with stunning views across the Bay which are available for organisations to hire.
The Consult Centre won Best Business Support company in the 2019 Bay Business Awards.

“These courses will help you do exactly that.
